Welder
1. Duties and Obligations
- Weld and Q/C assemblies performing minor fit-up & repairs as required.
- Monitor progress, quality, and timing to meet production targets.
- Contribute to and participate in a safe working environment.
- Begin with the end in mind. Set yourself up for success.
- Develop and hone experience in welding and welding theory.
- Keep workstation and environment clean and organized.
- Perform daily and weekly duties as required.
- Use jigs to increase efficiency and quality.
- Awareness of heat and heat theories in fabrications
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, dimensions and materials required.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Participate in the Q/C process as required.
- Wear all required PPE and adhere to company policies.
2. Requirements
- CWB certified.
- Ability to read and understanding blueprints in metric and imperial.
- Teamwork, written, and verbal skills.
3. Safety
Employees are required to follow all safety rules and regulations. This includes wearing work boots and safety glasses at all times in the shop. Smoking is prohibited in the shop and must be done in designated areas.
